COVID-19 Relief Campaign (Daily Bread): IVIVI Toronto x The Edible Story (Teaser)

The IVIVI Toronto COVID-19 campaign has focused on spreading awareness about the obstacles faced by local food banks in Toronto amid the current pandemic. Of primary concern is that Toronto's food banks are facing shortages in food and supplies as demand has sharply risen. However, food banks and other charitable organizations are concurrently experiencing another problem - declining rates of volunteers which these institutions rely heavily on in their day-to-day operations.

On April 18, 2020, IVIVI Toronto partnered with local catering company The Edible Story to provide a catered lunch to express our gratitude towards all the staff and volunteers at Daily Bread Food Bank. Every member was greeted in the cafeteria with a plethora of gourmet lunch options packed with energy to fuel them in their mission to fight hunger.
